Produced by Thriving Communities, the Fountain Fund documentary film is set to debut at the November 2022 Gathering on Whidbey Island.
In Charlottesville, Virginia a local organization has been working to effectively reduce recidivism by providing micro-loans and financial coaching to the formerly incarcerated. Jerry Millhon, filmmaker and Thriving Communities founder, learned about the transformative work the Fountain Fund was doing, and approached the organization’s leadership about documenting their effort and successes on film.
